Well it looks like this:
*snigger*
But it sounds like this:
At least in the hands of Tony Levin.
There's a guy selling one on BC and he posted a link to this ^ youtube vid. First time I knew there was a commercial example out there

Am I racist if I snigger to myself about an all-white Reggae group?...

Dunno, but hats off to 'em for recording some reggae in Welsh.

If you look just under his For Sale post, you'll see who's bought it...

I noticed you'd registered an interest....
Glad you got it, they are great fun (when they stay in tune)

I've already got a Guild one but they're a bit inconvenient to tune, hence going for the later one.

I haven't tried talc/baby powder or owt like that, I found I could play it OK without. I might though, for the sliding around.

I saw Redstripe last summer when I was on a weekend away in Wales.
They were really really good. Welsh language Reggae works for me, although there was a Goldie Lookin Chain Moment "Best Rapper in Holyhead"
It was quite a strange evening, as we'd gone for a weekend away only to find out that a good friend was staying about a mile down the road! He invited us to a gig, we drove to the coast, then walked through a golf course, over a hill at the end, down the other side and then arrived at this little Hamlet on the beach, half a dozen houses and a pub. It was a lot of effort but worth it. The band played next to the pub, we danced on the beach, the singer sang from the back of her camper van via wireless mic so she could look after the newborn baby. Then the tide came in and everyone that was that. Great night.
