So your gf got you a lovely piece of wood and no less than six knobs... I wonder what old Freud would say on that.

Yes indeed, applies to gf as well as bass.

She got me six small knobs because one huge one would be a little too obvious...

Tis a lovely bass,
Chris Larkin does great work but you do pay for it though worth it in the end, but still 100 times better than that yob Nelson, you have to make an appointment for an appointment with him.
And I bet she's a dream to play
may I be the first to suggest Soundclips?

I thought Chris's prices were actually very reasonable. It worked out at roughly 1.5 times what a Stingray with piezo would cost over here. Chris also said I can pop down whenever and have a look at what he's making. Which was nice.

Is that Derek Nelson you're on about? I've only heard good things about him.

I must get soundclips up but my Digidesign 001 doesn't want to play ball

You're right, plays lovely

Sorry going off topic, I went and got a quote for a bass off Chris and Derrick Nelson Chris sent an email right away with suggestions and a rough estimate top class A1 to deal with, I tried ring Derrick 3 times all times he was too busy and the 3'rd time i was given a rough estimate (not by him) because he had just finished an instrument like what i wanted or so i was told anyway of €7000 .....

But Alan stepped in and now I have 3 ACG's and another in the mix,

Back on topic: I dont like excuses I like sound clips
your also a lucky bastard lovely bass and lovely girlfriend to get it for ya,
