Well you learn something every day they say. A pm would have been appreciated.

Genuinely, really sorry, Peter. No offence intended. It's one of those word-confusions that happens quite a lot, so I thought I'd mention it in an attemptedly light-hearted way.
I'm just an unbearable smart-arse. I used to correct my teachers at school as they wrote stuff on the blackboard. Some of them didn't take too kindly to it, but I just did it compulsively anyway.
I should go on a mission over on BC. If I see "defiantly" instead of "definitely" one more time, I'll hunt the perpetrator down and pummel them. Definitely. In defiance of their protests.

No problem, I genuinely appreciate the heads up, I've been using the word ascetic instead of aesthetic for years. I suppose I saw it as a put down
A bit like empathic and empathetic I suppose. I sometimes wonder if I'm a bit odd with my words, like Hilda Baker, my Mum has the same problem

As I've said, absolutely no put-down intended.
I think a lot of people at least say ascetic instead of aesthetic, and that then affects the way they write it. A bit like "could of" instead of "could have" or "could've".
As for empathic/empathetic, if you cast aside the Star Trek influence, they're apparently completely interchangeable. That's something I've learned today (although being a bit of a Star Trek fan, I'm not going to change my ways any time soon).

Hi
Just got this one finished.
Dirty finish on the Ash body and the Wenge/Padauk neck. Mac Ebony finger board with no radius.
Hipshot Type A 18 mm spacing,Schaller strap locks and Ultralite tuners.
Pre-amp is an ACG EQ02 4K/S. This is the single pickup version of my pre-amp having the following controls.
Volume, Low-pass filter stack,Hi-pass filter stack and passive tone.
The pickup is my new RFS. This is a triple coil pickup made up from a wide aperture humbucker with a single coil in between the humbucker coils so is in effect two pickups in the one housing. The 3 way mini switch gives you the following. Humbucker, single coil and humbucker and single coil together.
I am very pleased with this pickup.

Very nice Alan, reminds me of my very own ACG.
Would love to hear a bit more about the RFS pickup, bet it sounds awesome!
Top work, as usual

Great, after finally narrowing it down to GB or Status, I now have to widen it up to include ACG.

I do like the dirty ash finish, but I've just rationalised what really appeals to me about that bass and it's the back of the neck...that wonderful, silky wood sheen...

For me, it's the headstock facings that make that bass absolutely hot sex. Yum.
